03.01.2010
The genocide in Rwanda has organized the murder of nearly 1 million Rwandans in 1994. Although the ambivalent society in Rwanda is relatively stable until the 70 years of the last century, the next two decades have witnessed many bloody murders of two representatives of the tribes in Burundi, Rwanda and Congo. By early August 1994, about 1 / 4 of the pre-war population of Rwanda has been killed or fled the country. International humanitarian aids for refugees have been organized, but supplies were insufficient, and diseases spread. More than 20 000 refugees died in the cholera epidemic in the camps. Today, there are stillabout 130 000 people in prison awaiting court for their involvement in the genocide and there are more than 300 000 children left without relatives to care for them.
