The Union Minister of Home Affairs of India Shivraj Vishwanath Patil resigned taking the moral
responsibility for the attacks.
The Government of Indian National Congress led by Manmohan Singh is preparing a new law against terorism. "We will show clearly to our neighbours that using their teritory
for terrorist atacks against us will not be tolerated."
- told Singh. India and Pakistan started to concentrate troops on the both sides of their common frontier in Kashmir after the tension between the countries escalated.
Pakistan anounced readiness for its land troops and considered plans to move its armies from the western border where they are concentrated against Al Kaida to east.
