The heading TOURISM maintains two catalogues: a catalogue of the touristic places and a catalogue of the touristic products.

caption "Bulgaria". This is the new logo of the country, approved by the Council of European integration, a body of of the Council of Ministers. The rose is the Bulgarian sign abroad not only in the promotion of tourism but also for all events presenting the country. The logo combines two basic simbols - rose and sun. The simbol itself emanates variety. On the one hand, it represents a flower - it has a stem, a foundation, an earth. On the other hand, it contains an association for a sun, for a spiral.
There is a dynamic in the way of representation itself - the rose is painted with one movement - as an upcoming spiral.
The green color of the letters simbolizes the floral and water wealth of the country - the greenery of the forests and waters.
The colors of the rose - yellow, red and orange - have also a deep semantics. The yellow simbolizes the fertile land and the gold, which is the metal of the eternity. The red is a simbol of the vitality and the orange is the union of these two colors.
In a local sense, the rose is a personification of the typical for the country technology - production of the rose oil, which is very well
developing and soon it is expected Bulgaia to produce 50% of the rose olive of the world.
Rainy village
Valeria Pesheva
In the very heart of the Rhodopi mountain, near the city of Kurjali, there is the village of Dujdovnitsa, or Rainy village, which is not known by many people and this is a part of the reason why I am presenting it to you. It can be reashe either by car, or by bus, which leaves from the station in Kurjali. If you enjoy beautiful nature, welcoming people and picturesque mountain routes, this is one of the places that you should visit. Near the village there is the Kurjali damlake, which is the only one in Bulgaria with elliptic walls and is a wonderful place for fishing and why not bathing (if you are fond of exotics). There are a lot of legends, connected to the village and the places around it. The old people can tell you the stories about Dam kaya(“The big stone”), Alan kaya(“The stone, that takes”) and the so called “Stone wedding”, which are all near the village. Another natural sight is the rope bridge, which is over the damlake. You can also arrange yourself a travelling with a boat along the damlake and this is a chance to see places on the shore, that still have not been researched “by foot”. In order to feel the romantic of the place, its spirit spirit and the nice surprises that it can give you, I suggest going there by yourself, which is definitely worth a weekend, for example.
